Central CARES

"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act." Proverbs 3:27

Central CARES (Community, Action, Resources, Encouragement & Service) goes beyond the walls of Central Baptist to build meaningful relationships, serve our neighbors, and meet the needs of our community with compassion. Through Christ-centered service, we seek to share His love, bring hope to the world, and make a lasting difference where God has placed us.

Throughout the year, Central CARES brings our mission to life through a variety of community outreach events and service opportunities. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt provides a fun and welcoming opportunity for children and families to come together in fellowship and celebration. Through our annual Backpack Giveaway, we help prepare students for a successful school year by providing much-needed school supplies. In partnership with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the Denver Police Department, more than 400 backpacks were distributed to children in our community.

From serving families and children to supporting those experiencing difficult circumstances, Central CARES provides opportunities for everyone to put their faith into action. Together, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ—serving with compassion, encouraging with love, and making a meaningful impact in our community.
